Bright flowers on these simple teardrop earrings, hand cut from a 1970s "Daher of Long Island" Baretware biscuit tin.
The design will vary depending on which bit of the tin I used. Please be aware that your earrings will not match each other (although both will be cut from the same tin), and the colours may be more muted than in the photos - it depends on whether the tin I'm using at the time of your order has spent its life in a cupboard, or out on display in daylight.
READY TO GIFT
Every pair of these earrings arrives gift-wrapped at no extra cost, saving you time and effort. I make little paper gift envelopes from pretty wrapping paper for each order, and decorate each little parcel with co-ordinating ribbons and a tiny bunny charm. The pretty packages are even small and light enough to hang on the Christmas tree!
Whether treating yourself or sending a gift directly to a loved one, it's a pretty treat from the moment you open the envelope! (design will vary depending on which nice wrapping paper caught my eye!)
Please bear in mind that my jewellery is made from preloved tins. This means that they've seen a bit of life, they may have scratches and dents, bumps and scrapes, some may have faded or discoloured a little, but they're all beautiful in their own way. I try to avoid damaged parts as far as possible, but I believe it's our experiences and our imperfections that shape our character, and I think that goes for beautiful recycled treasures too. I hope you agree x
