Turquoise Double-Drop Earrings: Recycled Tin & Sterling Silver

Turquoise and gold double drop earrings hand-cut from a very posh Prosecco panettone tin (from Aldi!)

The length is taken from the piercing to the bottom of the drop, and includes the hook - please note that these were measured on the standard 'fish hook' - changing the fittings to studs will shorten them quite a lot! One of the photos shows their length compared to my teardrop earrings, the most popular drop length I make.

Design will vary slightly depending on which bit of the tin I used - no two pieces are the same! They will all be cut from the same tin though.

Very lightweight (tins are mostly aluminium these days, the older ones were heavier)

Each piece is carefully hand-cut and the edges sanded smooth before being gently tapped into an elegant curve.

Every pair of these earrings arrives gift-wrapped at no extra cost, saving you time and effort. I make little paper gift envelopes from pretty wrapping paper for each order, and decorate each little parcel with co-ordinating ribbons and a tiny bunny charm. The pretty packages are even small and light enough to hang on the Christmas tree!

Whether treating yourself or sending a gift directly to a loved one, it's a pretty treat from the moment you open the envelope! (design will vary depending on which nice wrapping paper caught my eye!)

Please bear in mind that my jewellery is made from preloved tins. This means that they've seen a bit of life, they may have scratches and dents, bumps and scrapes, some may have faded or discoloured a little, but they're all beautiful in their own way. I try to avoid damaged parts as far as possible, but I believe it's our experiences and our imperfections that shape our character, and I think that goes for beautiful recycled treasures too. I hope you agree.
