Random mismatched pair of blue floral 1950s vintage tin triangle earrings hand-cut from a "George W Horner" (Chester le Street) sweet tin in the blue colourway (see other listing for the red version)
(Please note - price is PER PAIR, the photo of 12 earrings is to show the variety and random nature of the item. You will not be getting 12 individual earrings (yes, someone assumed ...!) - if you would like more than one pair, please adjust the quantity when ordering.
Design will vary depending on which bit of the tin I used, and the earrings will not match each other (although they will be from the same tin)
Each piece is carefully hand-cut and the edges sanded smooth before being gently tapped into an elegant curve.
Did you know that the traditional 10th wedding anniversary gift is tin? It's probably the kind of tin that used to be mined here in Cornwall, but I think these are much nicer!
READY TO GIFT
Every pair of ScattyBun earrings arrives gift-wrapped at no extra cost, saving you time and effort. I make little paper gift envelopes from pretty wrapping paper for each order, and decorate each little parcel with co-ordinating ribbons and a tiny bunny charm. The pretty packages are even small and light enough to hang on the Christmas tree!
Whether treating yourself or surprising a loved one, it's a gift from the moment the envelope drops through the door.
Please bear in mind that my jewellery is made from preloved tins. This means that they've seen a bit of life, they may have scratches and dents, bumps and scrapes, some may have faded or discoloured a little, but they're all beautiful in their own way. I try to avoid damaged parts as far as possible, but I believe it's our experiences and our imperfections that shape our character, and I think that goes for beautiful recycled treasures too. I hope you agree x
